Hezekiah did what was pleasing to the Lord, and he kept to the ways of David his ancestor, as Isaiah the prophet, who was great and whose visions were reliable, had commanded.
And they called upon the Lord who is merciful, and spreading their hands, they lifted them up to heaven: and the holy Lord God quickly heard their voice.
Yes, Hezekiah did what was pleasing to the Lord and firmly followed the example of his ancestor David. This was what was commanded by the great prophet Isaiah, whose visions were trusted.
